What Vidos does
- Generates the OpenID4VP presentation request for relevant PID attributes
- Cryptographically verifies the PID credential: signature validity, issuer trust chain, revocation status, expiry
- Validates business rules: attribute matching, LoA thresholds, nationality filters, minimum age checks
- Resolves the issuing authority against trusted lists
- Returns a structured verification result with a full audit trail
Benefits for your organisation
- Eliminate manual document upload and OCR: PID is machine-verifiable in milliseconds
- Reduce identity fraud: cryptographic proofs from government-issued credentials cannot be forged
- Meet AML/KYC and eIDAS 2.0 compliance requirements without storing excess personal data
- Accept cross-border identities from all 27 EU Member States through a single integration
- Replace fragmented identity providers with a single, standards-based verification layer
EU context
From December 2026, public sector online services must accept EUDI Wallet credentials. From December 2027, banks and major online platforms must accept wallet credentials for Strong User Authentication. Vidos enables organisations to meet these obligations through a single API integration.
