Viewing Instance Logs

This guide shows you how to access, analyze, and manage logs from service instances in the Vidos platform. You’ll learn how to effectively use logs for troubleshooting, and understanding instance behavior.

Before you begin, ensure you have:

Instance logs provide detailed information about service behavior, including:

  • Request and response processing
  • Error messages and exceptions

View logs through the Vidos dashboard to monitor instance activity and diagnose issues.

  1. Navigate to the instance details page in your dashboard
  2. Select the Logs tab from the navigation menu
  3. Choose the appropriate time range for your investigation
  4. Apply filters to focus on relevant log entries
  5. Review the log entries in chronological order

Use filtering and search capabilities to quickly find relevant information in large log volumes.

Narrow down logs to specific time periods:

  • Last 15 minutes: For real-time troubleshooting
  • Last hour: For recent issues or performance analysis
  • Last 24 hours: For daily operational review
  • Custom range: For specific incidents or historical analysis
